Fallow Day

What is Fallow Day? Quite possibly it is Tom’s greatest gift to us (other than his daughter who is now the Managing Director!). Tom passionately believed that New Zealand needed another holiday in the long dark gap between Queen’s Birthday and Labour Weekend. His idea was for a new holiday to be created called Fallow Day.

Even though winter is a time when nature lies fallow and the human spirit tends to gloom, we should gather the whanau together and celebrate all that we have, because we know that spring is not far away!

Fallow Day is a moveable feast ...

HAPPY FALLOW DAY!
