Rainbow Blend + RainbowYOUTH

RainbowYOUTH is a national charity that works to support, educate and advocate for LGBTQI+ youth, their friends, whanau and communities. Their vision is for all young people to thrive, regardless of their sexuality or gender identity. Sadly, the negative physical and mental health statistics for LGBTQI+ youth are appalling, so RainbowYOUTH works to provide a safe space for the LGBTQI+ youth community across Aotearoa.

We wanted to become allies with RainbowYOUTH to help raise funds, awareness, and acceptance to this amazing community so, with their blessing, we created The Smoothie Collection Rainbow Blend! Money donated to RainbowYOUTH is used to fund peer support groups, which provide safe and supportive LGBTQI+ spaces run by youth, for youth. In addition to this, Ffowcs Williams is volunteering management time and energy to put a shoulder to the wheel, including work experience and awareness events.
