Simple Cranberry SauceMake the day before and serve warm with the main course. Great with leftovers too!1 cup Orchard Gold Cranberries, frozen
1 cup apple juice A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg Simmer cranberries and apple juice over a low heat for 5 - 7 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before pureeing with the cinnamon and nutmeg in a blender or food processor. Remove from fridge and heat gently prior to serving. ![]() |
Cranberry RelishThis is a delicious relish to add some colour to your cheese board.
2 cups Orchard Gold Cranberries2 cups apple, peeled and diced 1 white onion, diced 1 red capsicum, diced 2 cloves garlic, diced finely 1 TBsp grated ginger 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup white vinegar Apple or orange juice, to taste Simmer all ingredients gently for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and add a splash of juice if desired. Store refrigerated in a sterilised container. |
